SamePage helps you reply to difficult messages in the app and improve drafts from your iPhone keyboard.

Try a reply in the app

In versions with free replies, tap Paste & draft to paste a message and start writing one reply. You can also enter text or choose a screenshot, review the text recognized on your iPhone, then tap Help me reply. If the AI disclosure appears, choose Allow & Continue to proceed. Review your reply, copy it, and paste it into your conversation. SamePage cannot send the message for you. The free allowance shown in the app may differ between test groups; a subscription is offered when you request more help after using it.

If a request is interrupted, retry the same text to recover a saved result within 24 hours without using another free request. Failed generation does not use the allowance. If the free service is unavailable, try again later. From Home, tap Help me reply to return to the composer. You can add the keyboard after your first reply or at any time.

Add the SamePage keyboard

1. Open iPhone Settings.
2. Go to General → Keyboard → Keyboards.
3. Tap Add New Keyboard and choose SamePageKeyboard.
4. Open SamePageKeyboard. Normal typing works immediately. Enable Allow Full Access only if you want to use SamePage AI tools.

Normal typing stays on your iPhone and works without Full Access or a network connection. Full Access lets the keyboard contact SamePage’s AI service after you tap an AI action and receive screenshot suggestions from the SamePage app. SamePage does not monitor typing continuously.

Reply or rewrite

For a reply, copy the incoming message, open SamePage with the globe key, and tap Reply to copied message. SamePage Pro lets you adjust the reply from Make peace to Hold firm or try another version. For a rewrite, type or select your draft, open SamePage, and tap Improve what I’m writing. Tap a result to insert it as a draft.

Use a screenshot

The in-app reply composer can read a screenshot on your iPhone and show text for you to review before generating a reply. For the separate SamePage Pro keyboard workflow, share one conversation screenshot to SamePage from the iOS share sheet, or choose the screenshot-to-keyboard action in the app. Return to the conversation and open the SamePage keyboard; your reply will be waiting. That shared result expires after 10 minutes.

Reminders and tracking choices

In versions with reminders, Home → More → Reminders controls a single optional reminder after 72 hours away, delivered during daytime. Turning it off removes the pending reminder. Advertising measurement, when available, is optional and separate from AI consent and notification permission. You can decline it and use every app feature. Manage an existing tracking choice in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Learn My Style

Record one Apple Messages conversation while slowly scrolling, then choose that 1–5 minute recording in Learn My Style. Processing happens on your iPhone and the recording is never uploaded by SamePage. Recognized messages are not saved; only a compact style summary remains, and you can replace or delete it.

Relationship Memory

Add a private relationship label, then choose a 10-second to 5-minute Messages screen recording. Scroll steadily toward the newest messages, about one screen every 1–2 seconds. SamePage reads both sides on your iPhone, confirms text across sampled frames to filter interface text and likely text inside photos or videos, and sends only the extracted transcript to OpenAI’s API to create a compact relationship summary.

Troubleshooting

Keyboard missing: return to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards and confirm SamePageKeyboard was added.

Full Access not confirmed: normal typing still works. To use optional AI actions, enable Allow Full Access for SamePageKeyboard, then return to the keyboard.

AI service unavailable: check your connection and try again. Normal typing remains available while AI is offline. If it continues, contact support with your iPhone model, iOS version, feature, and approximate time. Do not include private message contents.

AI permission needs updating: install the latest SamePage update from the App Store and review the OpenAI disclosure when you next request AI help. Your earlier Meta permission does not authorize sending messages to OpenAI.

Manage a subscription

Open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SamePage. Apple manages billing, cancellation, and renewal. Use Restore Purchases inside SamePage if an active subscription is not recognized.
